Isabelle experienced powerful and intense
musical emotions form a very young age.
With a grandfather winning first prize for
flute in Strasbourg, a Metz-prize-winning grandmother for her singing, an
aunt who was organist at Reims Cathedral, a self-taught piano-, guitar- and
flute-playing father, Isabelle was placed in a music-loving environment
from a very young age.
But Isabelle had a degree of learning, understanding and growing up to do to
really fulfil her potential. |
 |
 |
It was by choosing to take the path of self-knowledge that Isabelle came to
appreciate what was truly important, discovering the meaning to give to her
life and the Art of Life through Music.
For many years now, Isabelle has dedicated herself to Music, with a single
objective: to create Harmony. With passionate enthusiasm, her melodies take
us on an enchanting journey.
When looking into her mischievous blue eyes, which are filled with hope, you
can feel the Love which pervades all her compositions. Her musical creations
touch the soul of every people.
Isabelle’s gentle, colourful music recharges your batteries, improving sleep
as well as creativity through its soothing, vibratory tones. You can listen
to her music simply for the pleasure of it, but also to accompany meditation,
massage, relaxation therapy, thalassotherapy and the like; it can be used in
maternity wards, for instance, to calm, reassure, encourage, and stimulate
improved communication.
Her first CD, ‘Parfum d’étoiles’ (Scent From the Stars) will fragrance
your world; through the purity and harmony of the sounds, your entire being
is made to connect with the sweet smell of the earth and the light of the
stars above.
As an author, composer and performer, in all of her CDs Isabelle provides us
with pure, tender and colourful melodies, backed by an array of rhythms,
which, as if by magic, have a tendency to relax, intrigue and link you to
the source.
This is the portrait of a woman who is overflowing with creativity. Indeed,
Isabelle’s talent was acknowledged during the Lépine competition at the
Palais du Festival de Cannes, where she was awarded prizes in 1995 and 1996
for creating ‘Galaxy’, a futuristic piano.
Isabelle has also written a book, Et si le Bonheur nous été conté… (What If
You Told Us the Story of Happiness…), which takes us on an initiatory
journey through her different experiences. It is a simple and touching
account, unpretentiously allowing the reader to unearth foundations of the
most genuine and purest kind, leading to a harmonious construction of the
Self. Isabelle is currently working on future publications.
Isabelle will not cease to captivate through her inspired compositions, her
amazing dedication to the cause of the Self, her generosity and contribution
to building a society with a human face.
Isabelle is quite simply here, on our path, with us.

Roop Verma is a master of the Indian Sitar and Nada Yoga, the science of
therapeutics sounds. He is a brilliant concert performer, teacher and composer.
He tours internationally giving concerts, teaching music, and conducting
healing music and meditation seminars. He has recorded numerous CDs, tapes,
and LPs of traditional North Indian music and chanting, as well as
recordings for harmonization and deep relaxation. |
 |

|
Roop was born in northern India and is a product of the Indian classical
and sacred music systems ; he formally studied with maestros J.P Kaushik,
Ali Akbar Khan and Ravi Shankar. He has developed a deep, pure,
spirit-guided expression of sound, which has reached out to the hearts and
souls of thousands of people.
As an inspiring music teacher, he presents the authentic and traditional
North Indian Classical Music, both in theory and practice. Additionally, he
teaches the application of the science, principles and techniques of Indian
classical music to Western instruments and voice, for all ranges of music
students from beginner to professional.
Roop Verma has composed more than 2000 works, and is frequently
exploring new possibilities with both small and large groups of Eastern and
Western musicians. He creates new forms, which are derived from Indian
classical music, and are adaptable to all classes of world musical
instruments.
Roop Verma, an active practitioner and teacher of Nada Yoga, represents
the age-old tradition of meditation as taught by his teachers, Swami Shyam
of the Himalayas and Sri Brahmananda Saraswati, both of whom he studied with
for over 30 years. Meditation in essence is a step by step process for
restoring ‘balance” and harmony to the whole person as Nature intended us to
be. A balance of body, mind and spirit is essential to enjoy the fullness of
life.

Roop Verma was born in a music-loving family of North India and grew up in
an environment rich with art and culture. As a child he loved to split apart
every toy he played with to investigate and discover his inborn search of
“what is on other side/inside?” His intense curiosity led him to search for
inner dimensions in everything he did – painting, literature, science,
soccer, yoga, meditation – and above all, music. His main inclination was
towards the deeper aspects of music and its relationship with life. He
received his M.A. in music from Gandharva Maha Vidyalya University in Pune,
India and formally trained under Maestros J.P Kaushik, Ali Akbar Khan, and
Ravi Shankar.
Deeper dimensions were added to the spiritual quality of his music by
his teachers, Swami Shyam of the Himalayas and Shri Brahmananda Saraswati (Ramamurti
S. Mishra, M.D). As a young apprentice, Roop Verma split apart every tune he
learned and played, only to discover the “infinity” of emotional and
spiritual experiences. These experiences became the flesh and bones of his
music through years of self-analysis and inner search during the lonely and
long nights when the rest of the world slept.
As a result, there was born an artist with a revolutionary musical
personality, one of the pioneers of neo-expressionism in music wich has
forged its entry into the most competitive world of music. The magic of
Roop’s music is being appreciated the world over, with a totally different
mechanism of human awareness – the meditative. His music is equipped with a vocabulary and language that will carry it through the twenty-first and future centuries. Roop leads a simple life and portrays that simplicity in his music. He has
been successful in keeping his music, and himself, in the realm of sounds
and rhythms, where there is no competition, and no ego or gimmicks – only
pure music, and the peace and harmony it offers.

“Roop is an extremely sensitive musician…To hear him play is to participate
in the divinity of music…”
- The Ottawa Journal, Ottawa, Canada
“It became evident that he should not play an ‘Encore”. It was a
‘completeness” which had been presented”.
- Vasterbottens-Kuriren, Umea, Sweden
“He was able, through his subtle play, to transform the audience into a
state of meditative concentration”
- Schwabische Zertung, Weingarten, Germany
“Once he begins, musician and instrument become one…a meditative experience
for creator as well as the listener”
- St. Petersburg Times, St. Petersburg, Florida

“The Sitar is a world in itself, extensive, limitless, with towering peaks
and deep valleys. Roop Verma is an explorer and pioneer of this musical
planet. His accent to the zenith of music and his plumbing of the silences –
these ventures are not to be missed. The spiritual heart of India can be
felt in his musical outpourings. Nowhere is this pulse perceived more
clearly and more beautifully than in Roop’s music. Roop Verma conveys, in
both solo and ensemble performances, the soul of India and in so doing, this
virtuoso performer enables the listener to reach the heights within.”
George Bailin
